The round plastic insert glide is made to fit into a 1 1/2" inside diameter metal weld cup, commonly found on wrought iron patio chairs and tables. It helps prevent scratches, protects flooring, and allows furniture to slide smoothly over patio surfaces.

Installation Instructions:

Remove any old insert or leftover plastic rings from the metal cup.
Place the new insert on a flat surface.
Position the chair leg (with weld cup) centered over the insert.
Press down firmly until the insert snaps tightly into place.

Tip: If the weld cup is rusty or misshapen, you may need to lightly file the inner edge or replace the cup before installation.

We want you to love your new replacement slings, so it's important to ensure accurate measurements before placing your order - because each sling is custom-made just for you, we’re unable to accept returns.

Quality Powder Coating is not responsible for incorrect measurements provided by the customer, so we encourage you to carefully follow our How to Measure Guide. Before measuring, please check that your existing sling is not stretched, sagging, or loose, and that all rails are securely attached to the frame. For the most accurate sizing, measure slings that are still properly installed on the furniture.

A few important notes before ordering:

Due to the nature of the fixed frame, we cannot make replacement slings for Brown Jordan Furniture. If you’re unsure if you have Brown Jordan Furniture, you can contact us for help.
Fixed/welded sling rails can make installation tricky. These frames require professional tools and techniques. Slings for these styles may not fit correctly, and attempting DIY installation can damage the slings or the furniture. Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for any such damage.
Our slings are single-layered and do not come with padding or double layers.
We do not produce slings for pocket envelope styles, slings completely enclosed by rails, curved tops, or hourglass-shaped furniture.
