The one year warranty is a standard powder coat that comes with any job that is aluminum or indoor steel. This includes
By selecting the 3 year warranty (silver series or 3 year warranty) you are adding sandblasting and a textured powder coat finish. The sandblasting increases the life of the powder coat finish sticking to the metal its self. The texture adds thickness to the coating making it more impact resistant.
The (gold series or 5 year warranty) has the added sandblasting same as the silver series but also adds a non-chrome seal and primer base coat with a super durable smooth top coat finish. The sandblasting adds adhesion to the metal. The non-chrome seal conditions the aluminum to better except the primer base coat. The top coat is a super durable smooth finish. The super durable means that it has properties to help prevent fading at the normal rate of 20% year or year in the Florida sun.
The (Platinum series or 10 year warranty) has all the same steps as the gold series. The biggest difference is the primer goes from being a normal primer to an AAMA 2605 as does the top coat. These powders are made specify to with stand the harshest environments. The top coat has a decreased fading rate of 5% year or year versus the 20% on the gold series in the Florida sun. This application is geared toward railing and storefront that is on or next to the ocean. Any type metal that would be next to a salt environment.
