By selecting the 3 year warranty (silver series or 3 year warranty) you are adding sandblasting and a textured powder coat finish. The sandblasting increases the life of the powder coat finish sticking to the metal its self. The texture adds thickness to the coating making it more impact resistant.
The (gold series or 5 year warranty) has the added sandblasting same as the silver series but also adds a non-chrome seal and primer base coat with a super durable smooth top coat finish. The sandblasting adds adhesion to the metal. The non-chrome seal conditions the aluminum to better except the primer base coat. The top coat is a super durable smooth finish. The super durable means that it has properties to help prevent fading at the normal rate of 20% year or year in the Florida sun.
